I joined CEMEX to be part of a world-class organization that leads the way in the building-materials industry.

The most beneficial aspects of working at CEMEX are my access to a large expert network within and outside the company and my ability to implement innovative initiatives in an evolving work environment.

Thus far, the most interesting initiative on which I have had the opportunity to work is the post-merger integration of RMC. As a member of the environmental health and safety team, I learned to work in an unknown environment, where every proposed change required the support of people with different thoughts and views.

CEMEX also offers several means to train ourselves. For example, the courses on technological issues have proved very useful in gaining a better understanding of the company's business.

Indeed, one of the things that I value most about my career at CEMEX is the continuous learning within my own field, as well as in areas that I would have never thought to get involved.
